Oats Crumble With Berries

A crumble is a baked dessert with a fruit base and an oats topping. The fruit can be any number of things from apples to pears, peaches to blueberries. Crumbles are very easy to make, versatile and delicious.

They are good for any time meals, loved by children and elders alike. Our Rolled Oats Crumbles are extremelt healthy and nutritious as well.

INGREDIENTS

Rolled oats
75 g
Apples
4 Nos
White sugar
25 g
Brown sugar
150 g
Pumpkin seeds
15 g
Sunflower seeds
15 g
Refined flour
150 g
Butter (cold)
100 g
Cinnamon powder
5 g
Blueberries
50 g
Raspberries
50 g

DIRECTIONS

Toss the peeled and sliced apple in white sugar and cinnamon, keep aside.

Mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds separately in a bowl.

Rub in the cold butter in this mix gently till the mixture starts looking like crumbs.

Preheat the oven to 180 C.

Arrange the apples at the bottom of a baking dish.

Arrange the oats mixture on top of the apples and press gently.

Bake for ~ 30-35 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.

Top with berries before serving.
